In this world of pet shops, habitat destruction, and wildlife injuries, safe places in which to house animals awaiting adoption, or for animals who will remain in sanctuary for the duration of their lives, it is a necessity.   We need to provide them with habitats which resemble their native homes as closely as possible.

As we near completion on our 3 sanctuary ponds for aquatic species, we know our work is far from finished.

In order to protect animals that are captive, as well as to protect those still living wild from illnesses that captive tortoises often harbor, we must build suitable,  large, escape-proof enclosures.  We also need to protect captive animals from potential predators (ravens, coyotes, desert rodents, and mountain lions)

If you would like to help make life safe and comfortable for a tortoise in need of care, please consider "buying a brick" (or two, or ten, or fifty!) to support our construction campaign.

All funds from this campaign will go directly to purchasing building materials, 95% of the cost is the bricks for building enclosures.

Bricks are $2.50 each.  We plan to construct at least 10 large enclosures.

We will be placing engraved plaques on the enclosures with the name of anyone donating $250.00 or more.
